playing flash files (1 Viewer)

hey

i need a flash player that can play SWF files offline.

what im planning to do is to transfer some SWF files 2 another computer that doesnt have internet connected to it, and play these flash files

so are u aware of any flash players that i can transfer to another computer that isnt linked 2 the net?

If they have Flash player installed they can play it by double clicking on the file. If they have Flash installed but the SWF file type not associated, they can open the SWF file in a web browser (if they have the Flash plugin) and play it from there.

but what if they dont have a flash player installed?
how can i get this flash player to this computer?

my poblem is i cant seem 2 find a flash player that is an .exe that i can burn 2 a disk

its all them 'plugins' that seem 2 be quite difficult 2 download

Then download the file the link takes you to and keep the file offline for installing.

Read the installation instructions on the page.


Installation Instructions

1. Click the Download Now button. A dialog box will appear asking you where to save the Installer.

2. Save the Installer to your desktop and wait for it to download completely.

3. An Installer icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click on it.

aahhh.....the website automatically detects the browser you are using and loads the right page. With IE, it installs using ActiveX controls, which doesn't have a file to download offline. There are redistributable versions of the player that you might be able to find on cover CDs and such, but you probably won't find it online because it's against Macromedia's licensing rules. If you are really desperate you can use Mozilla/Firefox to download it instead and use the Mozilla version for the time being.
