hi. i was wondering, i have an assessment due soon where we have to pick a reading for one of gwen harwoods poems and write an essay talking about the values implied in them. I was going to do the Glass Jar and a Freudian psycho-analytical reading of it, but im thinking lots of people would be doing it cos its generally classified as ‘easy’ compared to other readings. What reading do u suppose i should do in order to get a really good mark, yet no on else would do cos i dont want to do the same one as everyone else? I was thinking Father and Child as well but i don't know what readings i could do of it. If I do a psycho-analytical reading of it, I dunnoe what to talk about. I am so confused and my teacher is really confusing me. :( Please help cos i need to do well in this assessment as ive already stuffed up my other assessments. PLEASE!
