If a course is called something like...
"Testamur titles: Bachelor of Engineering in (name of Engineering major)" (taken from UTS), and if the the engineering major was "Computer Systems Engineering". Now, would that be the same as doing "Computer systems engineering" course?

Basically, would the "computer system engineering" course be more specialised in computers than the "Bachelor of Engineering in computer systems engineering major" ? Hope you understand what i mean.

Thanks :p

Another Quetion,
Im applying for "Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Engineering at University of Technology, Sydney" but then, how would UAC know im wanting to do a major in comp engineering with science? When i added that course to one of my preferences, its not asking what major i want to do (Since majors depend on my UAI). Why is that?

In terms of the difference, you would have to look at wich subjects are contained within the course ...

In terms of UAC, they don't care about your major (you probably won't start any subject-specific course in seesion 1 anyway), they just want to know the degree ...

Ok thanks McLake but the UTS site says that the major you will do depends on your UAI. ???

also, this quote from UTS site about the science course says
Science component

Students are required to complete 96 credit points of science subjects of which at least 72 credit points focus on a major area of study in science, medical science or biotechnology.

Science majors may be taken in the following areas:

* Applied Chemistry
* Applied Physics
* Biomedical Science
* Environmental Biology
* Nanotechnology.

New major study areas:

* Earth Science
* Environmental Horticulture.
Does this mean i can do a major in PHYSICS and only physics?

Thanks Allot :)

I'm not familar with the UTS system (which sounds wierd) but normally you can only take one major in Science (unlike double majors in commerce)

Ok, according to that explanation, can i take one and only one major (ie "96 credit points on physics"?

thanks
