i was hoping i could get some help on this question out of last yr's hsc please???
it's question 7 (a) and i have noo idea...the answers explain a little but im just wondering why ..in the worked answers...the angle ABD is 30 degrees..and what's the 41 degrees for? please help!!

ok...but how did u know that? ive never been taught this properly....i kinda figured the relationship between the 109 and 139 degrees was reflected somehow in the 30 degree angle at mount hope...but i dont know why...maybe i just cant see it but i dunno.

Well the Easts in all 3 are parallel.

So you get parallel lines alternate angles (minusing 90 from both for the difference between North and East).
