and also, who else doesnt like ralph touchett...? i hate him

I didnt like it at first, but yeah it grows on you. I loved all the melodrama with the suitors, full on soap opera! Ralph is a bit of a weed ey, but he grew on me too towards the end. I want Lord Warburton!! *sigh* Reminds me of mr darcy...

i really like 'portrait of a lady'....henry james is an excellent author - one of my favourite, alongside thomas hardy....

i actually like ralph touchett and isabel isn't exactly a elizabeth bennet, but i still like her...
