I got my IRP about a week ago and I'm having difficulty choosing a topic.
I'm considering something along the lines of " What influence does the media have on shaping gender perceptions in children" but I'm not sure how i would go about collecting primary information such as questionnaires, interviews etc.
Any help and suggestions would be very much appreciated.

this topic is so popular. a girl in my grade did it but her questionnaires were a complete invasion of privacy & totally breached all that ethics stuff you learn about.
maybe in the question use a specific age like 14/15 year olds & questionnaire a specific year at your school.

This is a popular one, maybe you could do something that is important to you or something your serious about.
Teen drinking and drugs. clothing, eating disorders are heaps done.

I picked something and i only recently got the information for, after searching for months for it! although my primary and secondary information are at the different ends of the scales its ok because i can explain why. Im doing the comparison of twins and how it effects individuality, which is a hard topic to gather secondary, but then my primary information, kids decided to take it as a joke (twins from year 8-11 stuffed it and 12 did it right) but i can just explain why i got it because the questions were really aimed at people aged 17+ I had to high of an expectation

Good Luck :)
