Was wondering if anyone could please give me some idea about how likely it is that I receive an offer to study optom at UNSW this year based on my current academic results?
I'm applying as a post-grad (I have a BSc degree from UTS) with a GPA of 5.6. Had a pretty rough first year (which included one fail) but was getting mainly D's and HD's throughout the rest of my degree. My umat score was 163 (71st percentile). My atar was 87 but I don't know how relevant that would be to my application considering I've completed a degree.

Possibly relevant: I ordered a Qualifications Assessment Report from UAC to get an idea of the strength of my school/university marks. I don't know exactly what it means but the report came back and told me I had a current "UAC rank" of 96.3. Is this equivalent to an atar perhaps? If so that would be great because the atar cutoff for entry into UNSW optom is 95.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
