Hey guys, i just got an assignment form school yesterday and i was hoping u guys could assist me. The assignment is to find 3 texts, whether it be a visual text, feature article, play, novel, short story or poem and deconstruct them. So i was hoping that you guys could give me the name of the texts, keeping in mind that they must contain perspectives of both power and powerlessness/

What about film? A Beautiful Mind is good. Also the book, The Road by Cormac McCarthy is also good. Its post apocalyptic and deals with questions that ask what would you do in such a powerless situation. It's short and well written with lots of techniques.
