any ideas on what i can write about in relation to the theme of 'power and powerlessness' for a short story? all the ones i had are lame. and the teacher says that simple ones like 'police and a thief' or 'elephants and an ant' don't make the cut cause its 'tooooo simple'.

Short stories with a twist at the end are great. You could probably talk about someone who has power but yet he/she feels powerless?
