Powerpoint in Viva Voce (1 Viewer)

My viva voce is coming up soon and it's based on a interview/discussion but my teacher has allowed us to use powerpoint.

I was wondering if that was a good idea or not?

My advanced teacher has said you shouldn't do powerpoint because you'll turn it into a presentation rather than a interview/discussion.

But my argument is that I'm gonna us powerpoint as a visual backup and still leave it as a interview/discussion.

Am I dreaming or is it possible? Or should I listen to my advanced english teacher?

I think your advanced teacher is right...in my opinion the Viva Voce is more about discussing ideas than being a presentation...its your ability to verbalise and explain the thoughts behind your work with ease that gets you marks i think and requiring visual aids will only detract from that IMO.....
