are those units really really hard?
im deciding whether to do 3 or 4 units next sem.. cuz i wanna get my gpa back up but im already too behind in my degree to do 3 units =/
any advice appreciated!

200 is pretty hard, and ive been told its the hardest accounting...
201 is full of asians so yeh... not that its relevant or anything

i was told it was about 40%, but not sure how true it was...
i met like 3 guys who failed it... 2 failed it twice
lets hope they did alright this time round

pam... accg200 lecturer... doesnt know anything... half her notes are wrong as it is... dont bother going to her lectures and learn examples,...

It's not the theory...just actually answering the practical questions...

accg200 is realy hard i thought, there's a lot of journal entries and statements and calculations like 105 and 1b but they expect u to remember more for the exam and the questions are generally pretty hard! remember the examples coz they r most important, i just did it and passed but the exam was really long, too long actually! btw the majority of ppl in my tute had failed it already.

accg101 is easy, probably easier than 100 and 105 but the exam was tricky. its not as difficult as 200

With ACCG101, is it true that we dont have alex malley as the lecturer, coz I thought we do
also does anybody know if tutes are compulsory, and therefor weekly homework?

If u can use the Webct then u will know who's gonna be our lecture (possibly) But definitely not Alex, probably is this lecturer called Chris Searchfield...PLUS, the unit outline is out

i hate chris searchfield! he was the lecturer for accg250 but luckily he only did 3 lectures, my tutor didnt like him coz he was the unit administrator and nor did I, he was confusing, boring and his lecture notes were all over the place

btw at the beginning of every lecture he will show u pictures of his triplet sons in canada snowing, so i suggest missing the 1st 10 minutes of every lecture.

hahaha.....i wonder if we had him once or not....can't remember it, coz it was about wk 8,9 n alex was away tat lecture....v had a substitute who said he teaches 200lv, just went through the overheads with him...oh probably its him coz he showed us the picture of a snow mountain kinda one....but not very sure lol....and then again, we had another substitute who actually told us to SHUT UP =.=

lol yeah chris is pretty bad....if you go to his lectures wear something that doesn't stand out...he likes to ask questions in lectures and points ppl out to say the answer...eg don't wear bright red hat or you'll hear you with the red hat whats the answer?...very very annoying..why couldn't he just keep yapping on and finish the lecture early!?..anyway on the whole accg250 isn't bad really boring to get through
