Hey guys,

i was wondering if someone could please explain the concept of zero error in voltmeters (i know this is a systematic error), and please provide a numerical example which shows how the zero error can affect a reading..

Zero error is if the pointer returns exactly to zero each time there is no current. If it doesn't then the readings will always be out by the amount the pointer is away from zero.
