Paper 1 was looking at a fat load of different texts, and then a creative writing piece based on a quote from several texts. The quotes were like:
"It's more about conformity here"
"But she knew the crowds would expect it"
and something about a kaliediscope!
Needless to say, that was about self and society.
The second paper, which I sat today....the first question was:
1. How does the composer use techniques to shape audience understanding about the relationship between self and society?
(That one we had to use one text we've studied in class [I did The Catcher in the Rye] and then two pieces of related material)
2. How does Shakespeare use contrast to develop themes and shape audience opinion? (that one was on Othello)
Don't know if they've helped...seeing as we'd have studied different things....but there you go!
