What does "preparations necessary for becoming a parent or carer" mean.

Does it refer to physical, emotional...etc changes or deciding on either becoming a biological or social parent?

 Preparations for becoming a parent or carer refers to:

*Physical- prenatal considerations for parent and child health.
*Social changes- parents and carers may have to make.
*Emotional preparations- for the new relationships.
*Economic.

If you look at the Stage 6 HSC syllabus for Community and Family Studies you will see each dot point that you will cover and what you will learn as a student in the right hand column.

Also remember to relate the dot points back to the syllabus and wellbeing. As CAFS= wellbeing.

I hope that I was able to help, as I have just finished this module and am now starting the option core. :)
