i've just been choosing my 2nd semester subjects and i want to do film but it won't let me since i'm doing doing it in 1st semester. since it's only 1st year, do you think they might let me enrol in it anyway ?

what subjects are you doing this sem, and what do you want to do next sem?
generally if you haven't done the prereq, they won't let you in unless you ask for special consideration (like you've done similar courses before, or you already have knowledge about that course).

this semester i'm doing media and communications and 2 sociology subjects. i think that film would be a much better 2nd major and would compliment media and communications really well. i guess i'll just have to try and beg my way in lol.
