does anyone else use the access to general maths text book at school, i have found that there are many answer that are wrong, and its frustrating me to no end!!

e.g worksheet 7.13, question 6:

c, ii) the answer should be 86, whereas the book says its 87.1

it took me a while to figure it out, but they have swapped numbers over from two different diagrams, giving it a different answer!!

has anyone else seen this error?

A lot of the General textbooks have quite a few mistakes in them. Most of them were written a few years ago when the course was introduced to replace Maths In Society. Not many have been rewritten yet, but when the second editions come out you'll probably find a much better book.
