I wanted to put my math 1081 (discrete) tutorial onto this one slot however it clashed with my seng lecture. I didnt mind the clash because seng lectures arent that important, but myunsw wouldn't let me enrol because of the clash, which forced me to choose the other pair of math tutorial options which makes me go to uni for 1 tutorial on a friday.

So i just ended up choosing the friday pair and someone just told me to email the LIC and ask him to change tutorials for me to the option saying i just had a clash or something like that. He gave me this response :

"sorry but I do not know how "myunsw" works

if your clash is with the 1081 tutorials you want to change TO, this will not
be possible as you are expected to attend all tutorials

if the clash is with 1081 tutorials you want to change FROM then I would think
"myunsw" should let you cancel those tutorials and enrol in new ones

if this does not work please contact the school of mathematics first year
office

David Angell"

If i go to the first year maths office they will probably have a look at my timetable and see theres no clash and i just want fridays off =| hmm what should i do to get into the other tut option ?

I don't really see a way unless the seng lecture can be moved.

I doubt the LIC with change the lecture time to other time just that some of students benefits from a day off unless you don't have another tutorial time to choose from.

On the other hand I will have two lectures clashing in semester 2 - ELEC2015 Electromagnetic Applications and COMP2041 Software Construction: Techniques and Tools. I want COMP's lecture to be moved but I don't know where to start however I'm going try emailing Penelope Swan if she will do anything. I don't want to skip a lecture dammit.
