i recently had my computer reformatted, but ever since, my video files wont play. The audio for it will play, but not the video... i got this error when using BSplayer (unknown file format (xVID) and no error when using winamp but it still only plays the audio part of the file.
any suggestions?

open it up with winzip, and extract it to a folder. there should be an exe file, which you have to double click on.

No, that's right. Find the executable file and run it.

If there's no executable (you might've downloaded the source code), try this one. Click download (under the file information to the right), unzip and run the only file in there :)

And to nekkid, I don't know her name, so it very well could be.
