*Joins throngs of people requesting predictions*

Hey, I was wondering if someone would be able to give a UAI prediction based on these course-marks and ranks?
Thanks in advance..
[]=Half-yearly mark.

Advanced English-86% 1/36 [65]
Extension English 1-92% 1/6 [92]
General Maths-88% 1/59 [85]
Modern History-90% 1/11 [88]
Ancient History-92% 1/13 [87]
Extension History-98% (This is high because I got full marks for my Research Essay.) 1/5
Extension English 2-N.A x/2 (It's hyperbolic even..)

Note:I go to Ambarvale High School, one of the lower ranked schools, so that may influence my current rankings. I also think they're all going to drop at least slightly after the trials, but that's in the future..

But yes, if I can keep around that sort of level, is getting over 90 (My current aim, to give myself choices and to get a cheap-ego boost) a possibility?

98+

(unless you think you are 99+ which I wont disagree with)
I don't know why people request predictions if they are:

1. Ranked 1st in all subjects, and
2. Have a majority of Band 6's

Ego-boost with a first place ranking in all subjects? Quite possibly Extension 2 English as well? And not to mention mid to high Band 6's?

You're not the sharpest pencil in the tin, are you? (Only joking here, don't take it seriously :))

"You are winner!" ;) :)

*Refrains from taking offence*.

What I mean by 'ego-boost' is getting my name listed in the Herald, a sort of public recognition. But besides, I'm a quite insecure person, hence my request. Thanks anyway.

You'll be in the paper, don't worry.

I was joking about the pencil-comment.

I was just saying, that if you knew you were coming 1st in almost "every good" subject there is, (besides the maths... but anyway), you've got really good marks there, everything's a band 6 (or possibly alligned to the highest performance bands), so it's 98 or 99 for you.

When I first read it, I wanted to scream out "60" or something, because it was quite obvious where you're headed (up) :)

prognostication, eh?

98+, because you manage to selectively utilise highly sophisticated language in the correct mode and manner, for the correct audience. and you also used a noun of a latin derivative so that gets more marks.

goodluck with HSC.
cheers,
Frigid.

it wont affect u with ur ranks. u would, techinically, be in the same situation comes HSC, as a student at ruse with same ranks( and subjects) as you.

96/97 should be within reach.

(x) = (class average)

English ext 1 = 83% (75%) 3/6

english ext 2 = 93% (84%) 2/6 <-----by one mark

Ext 1 Maths = 52% (71%) 36/51<----and here i am doing 4u math

Ext 2 Maths = 86% (69%) 5/16

Economics = 86% (65%) 3 or 4/31

Business Studies = 84% (59%) 6/55

i go to a comprehensive skool...around the top 60 mark i think ...

That's a good UAI!
Every other subject is on track, besides Extension 1 Maths.

If that can go into the Band 4 or 5 (as a minimum), then you'll be set for a 97-98! Wipe the floor with us 96ers :p
(I'd kill for that, no wait, I'll earn it myself :D)

Just kidding, I'm a 90 guy.

I'm just going to say 97+

It's not that bad, compared to 98
And it's not too concerning for you, as I gave you a 96 before.

"Don't worry, be happy!" :)
