does anyone know any properties of PHB

i have that its biodegradable but thats all i can find

it's biocompatible (it's a metabolite normally present in blood, so tht t's included in sutures, surture fasteners, cardiovascular patches and wound dressings)

PHB has poor physical properties for commercial use. It is stiff, brittle and hard to process. This has led to the production of hetero-polymers with improved qualities.(eg:p(3HB-3HV which is less stiff, tougher and easier to process compared to PHB. In addition, t's water resistant & impermiable to oxygen)

PHB has similar properties to polypropylene. besides biocompatibility and biodegradability, its thermoplastic properties means it can be easily moulded for other purposes such as shampoo bottles [however, it's not economically viable yet]

does anyone know how PHB degrades? I can't find it anywhere but then again I might just suck at internet searches lol

by bacteria? i think bacteria can metabolise the glycotic bond.
