pros and cons for choosing music 2 for prelims subject selection (1 Viewer)

its time for me to be selecting my subjects for senior years and im not sure if i should choose music 2. suggestions and advice appreciated

if it helps, i recently completed 8th grade ameb for piano pract and received an A

im equal first in music in my grade

other subjects im choosing would be advanced english, 3u maths, ancient history, physics.

I see you've chosen music but I'll give you a few of the pros and cons anyway(in my opinion)

Pros
Go through heaps of periods starting from baroque
Written is easy
Small class (for most schools)
One of the only subjects which you can waffle on questions
The essay can be dot points (OMG!!! but i wouldn't recommend it)


Cons
Sight singing
You can't perform the pieces that you did in prelim for hsc
year 12 - Australian music in the last 25 year - you also have to compose and perform in this style D:
NO PRAC (or at least for my school.... music 1 has prac at least once a week)
year 12 - the additional topic can inhibit you from doing well in performance (e.g. you can't relaly be expressive in baroque)
