PS2 and laptop screen (1 Viewer)

Hi,

we only got 1 TV and ma dads always watchin it.

I need something that allows me to plug my ps2 video into my laptop.
Any Ideas???

surely you can think of other ways to keep yourself other than a ps2 :rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure you could do it using an external capture/ tv tuner device; but it would be worthwhile considering buying a TV. I recently bought a 52cm (21 inch viewable) panasonic flat screen TV for $220. The picture quality is awesome, best purchase I have made in a while. Keep in mind, since most (virtually all) PAL ps2 games don't support progressive scan modes, the games will look very jaggy on the laptop LCD screen.

Yeah, get a TV. Any equipment that allows you to plug a PS2 to a laptop is not worth it.

tv card in computer and u can play through computer.. closest thing :p

my friend plays it on his computer monitor with a tv tuner. looks alright

Dick Smith Electronics have a RCA -> USB converter (click here ) for $129. Allows you to plug RCA connections (Red, White Yellow) into your laptop's USB port.

Try a computer market, and you'll probably find them around cheaper, but it's just an example of what exists...
