Hey everyone! I just recently checked out a new indie film, "You're Gonna Miss Me" and its a pretty good documentary film about the infamous musical legend, Roky Erickson. I borrowed the dvd from a co-worker at umg even though it won't be released until July 10, 2007. Directed by Keven Mcalester, the film is about Roky Erickson, the frontman for the psychedelic group - The 13th Floor Elevators during the 60's. The film illustrates Roky's struggle with drugs and schizophrenia as his family is chosen to make a decision between medicine and religion. For all those who like indie docs - this film is very intriguing and interesting.
