'For what values of x is the curve concave up'.

My answer was x>1 (dunno if its right for sure) but since this question was worth 2 marks does that mean we would have had to do more than state the value of x??

yes x > 1 is sufficient enugh.

I just did f''(x) > 0 for concave up, solved it and got x>1. Im sure thats all that has to be done for two marks

You could also do it by looking at the graph
