im not sure how to do this

kathmandu is 30degrees west of perth. using the longitude difference what is the time in kathmandu when it is noon in perth?

a) 10 am
b) 11.30 am
c) 12 30 am
d) 2 pm

can someone plz tell me how to find the answer for it

We are told that 1° = 4 minutes.

Given that Kathmandu is 30° West of Perth, and the sun rises and travels East to West, Perth time is before that of Kathmandu..

So we simply times 30° by 4 minutes and get 120 minutes.

120/60 = 2 hours before Perth time (12pm) which is a) 10am.
