The UNSW Law School makes transfer places available each year to students who have completed a minimum of one year of full-time tertiary study (or part-time equivalent).

UAC Transfers:

The following categories of transfer are processed through UAC:

*1 Students with at least one year of full-time tertiary study transferring to a combined law degree (From 2005 transfer students who have completed more than one year of tertiary study will not be considered.)

*2 Graduate students transferring from another Law School

*3 Local Full-Fee students transferring to a HECS place

ermm...wat does *1 mean? where it says (from 2005...........). does it mean u cant transfer to law after 2nd yr or later?? or it just means that the application wont be processed thru UAC?

I'm guessing it means you can't transfer if you've done more than a year's worth of uni. So you'll have to transfer at the end of your first year. I'm guessing it has something to do with the new HECS system.

You can always try other unis :).

Yes, what jase said,
You cant get into Combined Law if you have done more than 1 year of uni study - you'll have to wait till u graduate and try for Graduate Law
