hello i need sum help with this dotpoint, im not sure wat to do

process and present diagrammatic information to illustrate Bohr’s findings with the Balmer series

my guess is the diagrams in the jacaranda book, the 2 diagrams im referring to are the atomic energy level view of the spectral series of hydrogen, but u just have to know balmers lines and the second diagram being the electron orbit of the spectral sries of H.

any advice

thnx

yeah u have to draw a bohr atom right, then have ground state etc.. to n = 6

then draw lines from n= 3 to 2 for red (A)

n=4 to 2 for blue (B)

n=5 to 2 for violet 1(C)

n=6 to 2 for violet 2(D)

cuz thats the hydrogen spectrum that bahlmer found a formula for

so something like this if you'd like, but mine is circular in the shape of orbits

also:

the lines get closer together in the violet range, because they are on higher energy bands (and the higher energy bands are closer together)
