Ok i go to this all girls school but then because we have a counter part boys school next to us we could choose to do some subjects at the boys school. Well i've recently found out that though we do the subject at the boys we are actually going to be ranked with our own school even though we will have only the trials in common! well i have been trying to find out how this works.... but havent got any information from either schools. Could any one enlighten me?

It will be up to your school to decide how your marks are incorporated into the overall assessment scheme.

Ideally, they would use the results of your common task (the trial exam) to place the results of both schools on the same scale. The two sets of marks could then be validly combined.

You should ask your school about it so that you can ensure that a fair method is used, else students could be disadvantaged.
