Hey everyone! Only abt a week till atars and my anxiety has been through the roof. I am non stop stressing and scrolling through threads. To get into my course i only need a 75 but idk why im so worried i wont achieve it bc of how badly i did in maths specifically. My other subjects are eng adv, maths std2, eco, business, and legal. I personally found legal and economics really easy but the rest were mid/ just simply awful. Anyways do people think scaling and alignment will be good this year. From all I’ve looked into I found that scaling is kinda consistently different depending on the cohorts. But anyways any opinions would be greatly appreciated. My main question is how different do ppl predict a 75 atar will be to recive? If anyone cares to know i can provide my ranks and stuff. My schools ranking varies from year to year btw. Like for example in 2022 we were ranked 157 and last year we were ranked like 260 something….

Just using some online calculators, you would need about 75 - 80 in all of your subjects to get a 75 ATAR. Given that 70 is the median ATAR, getting towards the upper range of 75 - 80 will significantly boost your ATAR. Not really sure about scaling, but I'm sure that it will work out. I can't imagine that the marks are too different year on year since 75 is towards the median and not the extremities such as 99+ ATAR.
