i am referring to the address bar, and the fact that when you type an address it comes up with the previous addresses beginning with the letters you have typed.

well i did a typo and at the moment i have:
www.boreddofstudies.org which appears before the actual boredofstudies address and i want to get rid of it as sometimes i click on it instead of the real one, and it just wastes time. how do i take it away?

go to Tools> Internet Options

Under Content Tab

go to Auto Complete

Click on Clear Forms.

That's it :)

Have you also cleared your history as well?

It's located in the internet options General Tab

Why don't you just delete that "boredd" history altogether, if clearing the History, Autocomplete-forms (cached URLs) doesn't work?

Hit Control +H
Search for "boredd" or navigate through your history of sites, looking for the one entry. It could be 3 weeks ago, or 2, or last week, today etc. Wherever you can find your 'boredd' - right-click the main (yellow) folder and hit delete. This should remove it from your drop-down list, or past sites visited (such as boredd).

Correct, but according to Telstra 1GB = 1000MB. They're so scummy that their own customers are getting ripped off (by a small margin, but you can do a lot with 72MB if you knew you had that little bit extra each month).

The same can be said for hard disks, purchasing a 120GB does not entitle you to 120GB, but rather ~111GB. (This is another story, however). :)

Yes, Telstra don't consider 1024MB to be 1GB.

On a 3GB plan, you would have 'lost' 72MB, about 4-5 hours worth of downloading on 56k?

72MB / 17.578125MB per hour (at 5KB/s)
= 4.096 hours

Yes, talk to the Telecommunications Ombudsman or ACCC, but I don't think you'll get too far.
