Hey,
I'm a first year Bachelor of Arts student, and I think I might want to transfer to Bachelor of Arts (media and communications) next year.
I just wanted to know what the course is about. Initially, I was thinking of doing a BA (media and comm), except my friend said it was very computer-oriented (I don't really like computers) so I was very turned off by that. Is it true though? I would like to do something like public communications in the future, so would this be the right course for me?
Also if I was started second year, I was wondering whether I have to take the first year MECO subjects, and do I just commence second year?
I'm starting to regret not putting in BA (media and comm) as my first preference. I got above the UAI for this year's cutoff, so I would have no problems transferring (I hope)
