Question regarding threads and emails (1 Viewer)

When you post a message in a thread, you're notified when someone writes something new by email. How can I get notifications about threads without posting a message?

cant u simply subscribe to a thread!

i did that and i havent been getting any email notifications. that just put the thread in my members section so i can see it everytime i login.

Then you have subscibed to a forum.

To subscribe to a thread you must go into a specific thread and click "add subscription". You CAN NOT subscibe to email notification for forums.
