When it comes to music files played on it, can they play WMAs?

You'll need to convert your video file into .mp4 format properly first. Done easily by using PSP movie creator.

Music- afaik, you can listen to all types of music.

Once its been hacked with a pandora battery (you can buy it or make one) and a Magic memory stick, you can do anything with it.
