The buses will be leaving every minute in peak times, and probably every 5 in off peak.

Bus trip is 10-20 mins, depending on traffic.

Note, buses leave from EDDY AVENUE (not Railway Square)

Unless you want to be precisely on time you might check http://www.transport.unsw.edu.au

Otherwise just get to Central any time, the express buses are very regular during peak hours - and seeing its open day they'll have buses there for sure. At most you wouldn't wait for more than 20 minutes for an express.

The trip takes 10-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Free maybe if not, 1.60 for two zones.
if its like last yr, it won't be free. unsw is pretty tight in that respect.

buy a brown travel ten...9.80 for ten trips...
even if you guys have bus passes (which you could probably use....), you will probably eventually end up using the 10 trips on it somewhere in the future...so its better than payin 1.60

If brown travel ten is no good then buy a blue one. You will need to "dip" this twice, but then it only is half the trips ...

Sif dip twice, they're not checking.

Yay free! C'mon, a university full of asians wouldn't dream of trying to get their target demographic to pay! :p

Then again, if they're also run by asians... ;)

I wouldn't be suprised at all if the "Revenue Protection Officers" did come out tomorrow though, just to catch unsuspecting high school students. Really, if dipping one more time is going to save you something along the lines of $400, why not dip it?

fat bastards

since they stop the buses at that place where it's quite steep uphills, i have a theory that if they pull you off the bus and you start running up hills, those fat bastards won't be able to catch you
a) they are too lazy
b) they are no way fit enough to run!

The ones that caught me were actually very fit, well toned guys. Of course, I defeated them in court. :p
