is it possible to predict our atar just by looking at our ranks in each subject?
Assuming you perform the same way for the HSC and the ranking for the school. Yeah I guess you can.is it possible to predict our atar just by looking at our ranks in each subject?
Thank youYou yourself cannot without accounting the ranking of your school, because a 90 at one school is not the same as a 90 at another school (ie. the exams may be of different difficulty).
Typically, the whole point of trials is a trial run for the HSC - they are the best indicator of your future ATAR. You should ask your school to predict it, as they will use historic ATARs to predict yours. It should be fairly accurate.
That will depend on your cohort's performance in the Software Design and Development HSC exam. If your final rank for SDD is 1st, your Assessment Mark will be the same as the highest Examination Mark achieved by any student in your SDD cohort, as per the moderation process. For example, if the highest mark someone achieves in the HSC exam within your SDD cohort is 85, then your Assessment Mark will be 85.question, lower marks but alright ranks how do they go?
At a rank 300s school 1st in software at 78 or 79 % how would that typically go?
Thanks again Jimmy. Once again really helpfulThat will depend on your cohort's performance in the Software Design and Development HSC exam. In terms of your own Examination Mark, this is something that is solely determined by your own performance and is not affected by your school rank, meaning you need to do your utmost to achieve the highest possible mark. Using the above example, if you achieve 80 as your Examination Mark, your final mark for SDD will be 83.
