has anyone seen the preview of ten for 2004? reality tv has just took its toll with more idol shows (btw congrats guy!), some new reality show like the resort one and yet ANOTHER BIG BROTHER SERIES! . i only got used to the idol show but reality tv has gone too far for putting plots for absolutely no reason and showing more tears and bi**hy comments when long ago, tv was part of simple entertainment with imaginary drama or comedy shows and now i wonder what the new generation will react if 100% of shows are reality. some shows like survivor and aussie idol are ok but i have a feeling that television will be massively dominated by reality tv.
just my opinion but i still like survivor (the first 4 series).

i think reality tv has a use by date, it's almost over, after a few seasons the shows get boring

i want to start watching sitcoms and dramas again

same i love sitcoms and i miss gilmore girls. why on earth is there a big brother 4? it already sucks bad this year.

Yeah I agree. I loved the first ever of big brother, and survivor but just making more, so close together, and with so much competition from rival broadcasting companies to show reality shows as well......there's just an overflow.
It will get worse as well.....so my advice, is everybody, dont watch any reality shows at all.
Lol like thats going to happen any time soon. Awh I wish I owned channel 10 or channel 9.

i think it was on the simpsons where they said that tv stations love reality tv shows because they dont have to pay actors or script writers.

i just saw an ad on tv that theyre going to show the australian idol grand final again on saturday night. wtf is with that?!!

i think theyve milked enough money out of that show.

Australia needs to produce its own "Amazing Race' before we quit on reality tv. Doubt it tho it would cost AU$25-30 million to set it up.
