i have a quick question for msn.

when you add someone to you list, do you get a message saying "some person has added you to their contact list"?

i cant remember.

yes, and you can choose whether to add them and let them see you're online or not.

no, i mean, when i add someone, would i get a msg saying that they have added me...if i was offline when they did.

no. but if you see them online, it means that they did.

actually, if you go into tools, options, privacy, there's something to let you see who's added you

If they add you, yes.

If you add them, you don't get confirmation that they have added you.

See who has added you to their contact list: "View..."

thats why i am asking, coz i added someone, but havent seem them online. i dont know if they had given me the right or wrong contact.
