ur final HSC mark is the average of ur Exam mark and ur internal moderated mark.
ur internal mark is moderated according to ur school's performance in a certain subject (and ur performance of course), the higher ur ranked in school the higher ur internal mark is!

for example... lets say ur moderated assessment mark is 50

and u get something like 80 in the HSC exam

or final HSC mark becomes: ( 50 + 80 )/2 = 65%

the largest gap ive seen yet between a moderated assessment mark and an HSC exam mark is 20 marks,

exam mark / moderated assesment mark / Final HSC mark
88% .......................... 68% ...................................... 78%

anywas... maybe i havnt explained it the best, but my point being

YES!, if u do perform well in the HSC exams u will definately have a chance of getting a 65/70 UAI maybe even higher, depending on ur classes overall performance, and how HIGH ur HSC exam marks are, obviously the higher the better....

Good luck!!!
