Hey,

I was just wondering, are you supposed to write equal amount on each of your related texts? Ive been told that you are supposed to write 1/4 of the essay on related texts, but do you have to write 1/8th on each related text (if you are doing 2) or can you write more about one of them?

Thanks

i've been told

1/2 essay on stimulus text

1/2 on core + related

so depends how many related you do, but i tend to like the idea of doing only one better, and this what we've been told that doing one -really well, is better than just touching upon 2....coz u dont really get the same depth.

but also depends how many core texts you have to do. if you're just doing one then 2 related isnt too bad

if , like me, you're dong "2" core texts (2 poems) then maybe its more time-efficient just to do one related :)

hope that helped :)

I was told
1/2 on core
1/4 on stimulus
1/4 on related.

Ive got 2 related texts, but I can write way more quality stuff on one and not much about the other.

And bear in mind, a lot of this depends on how much you're able to write... so if you're filling more than one HSC-type booklet (that's 5 pages I think), you have more room to play with.

And don't lose sight of the fact that you're making an *argument* - so they're not going to kill you or something if you write a bit less on the core and a bit more on the related - so long as it works, as long as your argument is impeccable, they can't touch you :)
