I need suggestions on what texts i should use that are related to the area of study, Journeys. Any help would be appreciated.

I won't tell you what you should pick, but what you should not pick. Any visual texts like images and cartoons are limited to what you can analyse and write about, so it's best to stay from them, unless you can find alot of meaning from the visual.
