UWS takes anyone with a pulse. Apply for an art's degree or whatevs you wanna do, course/campus transfer and viola! They give you credit transfers, so that year won't be a waste. But really, do what you wanna do bruh, but don't let it be a waste. Do it well. And don't allow fuck ups.

I know a guy who's repeating cos he needs a 99.something to get into UNSW B Law/Arts I think. He fucked up english, and didn't write an essay for module c :( and obvs can't get it.

Don't repeat... It's honestly the worst idea possible. Because you can't guarantee that you can get a better ATAR this time around. Just try get into a uni course and transfer second year.

why repeat when there are plenty of pathways you can get into even if you fail. its honestly a waste to repeat. 2 people from my school had to repeat as they were away most of year 12 and instead they finished their hsc at tafe.
