- When did it start happening?

- Was there anything in particular that happened when this started happening?

- Where does your computer get to when it restarts?

- What operating system do you use?

Please post relevant details when asking.

A small rabbit hole....
You may have messed up your BIOS settings by accident. You can manually reset them on your Mobo by moving a jumper to different positions. If you have the manual for your mobo, it should tell you how to do it. If not then you'll have to remove the battery and leave it out overnight.

1st port of call - does ur ram post? that is, does it do that clicky memory counting thing.

if not, then hard reset bios as merfonga suggests - the jumper should be somewhere near the battery - then try again.

when u boot does it just do absolutely nothing? like, does it emit a few beeps? if so how many (very old school way of identifying problems ^^)?

meh im useless at remote tech support. have to be sitting at machine to fix anything :/
