He taught us to follow our dreams and believe that anything is possible in this world. He sponsored sporting teams, established an allergy research foundation, spoke out against extremist radical Muslims, was behind the 2nd Melbourne A-league franchise and a proud Australian Muslim. Dying at such a young age, leaving behind his wife and four children, yet alone do so much for our community. This is truly a tragic event.
To growing up in Broadmeadows, being told by his teachers that he would go to jail when he grew up, not having a university degree, and to becoming one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Australia. The rags to riches story has come to an end.
