i was looking at the syllabus dotpoints for:
• Roles and responsibilities of Caesar/Pompey/Crassus

and i know each of they basically wanted to get pompey's eastern settlement ratified, Crassus' rebate and caesar's consulship but was that it? it seems a bit sparse.

yes and no...well you could elaborate a bit on those aims, but remember those were only the initial aims.

Caesar...wanted consulship, a proconsulship with military scope and a triumph.

Pompey...land for his veterans, and the ratification of his Eastern Settlement.

Crassus...a rebate for the equestrian farmers.

Above all these three men wanted to further their, dignitas, auctoritas and glorias and consequently their career. U could elaborate in the sense that, the prime aim of a roman politician was to obtain...........

The three men had also promised to stand against any legislation which would prove unbenefical to any of the men. (I guess that comes under responsibilty)
