sorry if you have come in here to read any notes on it but basically i am just about to do my midcourse and thought i would say
WORST. BOOK. EVER!
and thats coming from someone who usually likes english GRRRRR
i didn't actually mind it. i heard Raimond Gaita give a talk at some conference thing. his intelligence and the sense of genuine warmness he gave off kinda earned him respect from me. i also have the book on cd.. and for some reasons Raimond's voice is smooth and nice in a way that made the book seem more interesting haha.
God, I despise this book. It is frigging horrible. Considering just about everything can be related to belonging in some way, I don't understand why THIS one was chosen to put on the syllabus.
