Rules for "other texts" (1 Viewer)

Is it a BOS rule that u can't use prescribed texts from Eng Std. or Ext.1 as an extra/supplementary text in Eng Adv. ?
im kinda confused

i dunno whether its a rule but u wont get good marks for it coz u could always get other ppls stuff that did the text and u can get study guides for them.....

Yes, you can use texts from Standard. and Extension.

well, i reckon they shouldnt discriminate like that, they shouldnt mark u down on the basis of u doing a text from a different course

Other Texts

U can use text from the different courses (apart from the ones issued by the board of studies - including prescribed texts).
Aslong as u can justifed why u'ved used it, it shouldnt matter.

markers will be sick of hearing from texts in other subjects. although if they are marking your test they wont be marking other subjects, but they probably know the texts off by heart anyhow. they want something knew. and although you wont get marked down for a boring text choice you cant get marks for interesting or intellegent text choice if you choose something that everybody else already knows of.
