I'm pretty sure you need a JP to sign it :)

No, it's not too late for scholarships either - you can still apply for commonwealth learning and accomodation scholarships and probably some other ones.

I'm going for a commonwealth accomodation / learning scholarship. Hopefully should get it, free money is always good

that all depend on the type of scholarship

there are some which are a combination of grades and other qualifications, financial situation, gender, race, regional area you are from

for those the grades you require can vary but im not sure to what extent

then there are scholarship based purerly on uai. for those they usually have a minimum uai which all applicatants must have and then the top x people are given the scholarship. ( probably >95 )

For the commonwealth scholarship i think you would need at least a high credit average (going from a person i know that got one last year) and you would have to explain your financial situation as well. The commonwealth scholarships are based on grades and financial need.

Not really sure about what grades are needed for scholarships in general though.

The engineering scholarships say something to the effect of "You must recieve a UAI comfortably higher then the requirements of the course."

So most of them are based on financial need? I don't think I will bother than because there are a lot of people in a lot worse situations than me:).

mission accomplished! thanks guys.

the foundation scholarship is based on academic merit, not financial need..basically you have to be in the uni's district and have a uai over 95. but there are heaps of others based on different things, so its worth having a look. most of the scholarships close on 31st january, with a few exceptions. good luck!
