It's just a holiday that students have after they finish the HSC.

It's basically one major piss-up.

There are still plenty of places you can stay on the Gold Coast this year for schoolies.

The whole 'book now' stuff is BS to sell rooms.

Only place you have to book super early for is Whitsundays which sells out pretty quickly.
