got some marks back today: 31/40 for an assessment worth 15%
it ranked me 52nd for that assessment out of around 99 kids

previous assessments:

assessment1: 19/20 ranked equal 5th - worth 10%
assessment 2: 24.5/30 ranked equal 6th - worth 15%

how badly did i screw up...? and what are the chances i could still successfully move back up near the top overall?

your overall mark will still be up there especially since you went as well as you did in the other assessments.

WIth such a high percentage and an average rank, chances are the gaps between the ranks would be small, unless of course 51 people scored 40/40. Also including your past assessments your rank would still be pretty good.

Your "screw up" was small. You could very easily get near the top again, chances are your only a few marks overall off.
