It varies from Uni to Uni and from course to course. I guess its a question of how many applicants they get , how many places they have and if they have to narrow the field

I didnt think there where that many.
I and so many others are under the impression that your only option is to apply threw UAI.

I wouldn't expect a serious response when you've 1. not looked through the stickied thread and 2. not gone to any of the websites.

Each uni, each course, each year, varies.

apparently unsw only looks at the highest of your gpa/uai

1. I did read the stickys, that is how I got the impression that UAC was the only.
2. I have been to many of the websites and found most of the information hard to get at.
3. I know that cut offs change but not the way that students are accepted invariably stays the same, If this is wrong then please direct me to the psyc course that allows entry in some other way than UAC.
